o plan revised from 49 story 575 units to 50 story and 513 units
o about 1/2 of the units will be 1bdrms and 1/2 of the units will be 2 and 3 bdrms
o there will be 150 parking spots(30%)
o average rental price will be $2.90/ft
o hoping to break ground August 2015, completion end of 2018

• 387 – 403 Bloor Street East/ 28 Selby Street

o The newest proposal to the OMB will be Apr 2. Changes such as moving the building on Selby back as well as having 190 hotel suites (as well as 487 residential suites).
o Two buildings, 49 stories and 12 stories
o first 10 floors will be hotel suites, and the rest will be residential
o The main entrance for the hotel and the residences will be separate and on Bloor St. with a lounge/bar in between
o The parking entrance and a more casual pedestrian entrance will be off of Selby
o 180 parking spots over 5 levels
o Section 37: 80% to go to community enhancements, 10% low income, 10% art
o hoping for ground break in late 2015, completion 2018

o Ground breaking took place March 30’15
o any complaints/concerns regarding construction can go to her or Bird construction
o no plans yet for the future of the current Casey House building
o completion fall 2016

• Rogers Communications
Presenter: Chris Ostiguy, Director, Facilities
o Logo/branding changes will be taking place for all signage. Building signs and podiums will be worked on which may cause some minor inconvenience to the neighbourhood. Hope to be done by July 2015
o 333 Bloor is undergoing some construction in order to increase the capacity for cooling and power for the building. A new cooling tower will be installed on the roof. Also, floors 5, 7 and 9 will be re-enforced. The construction may cause some inconvenience and noise to surrounding area.

3. Community Update:
• Monsignor Fraser College & former Sacre Couer School

o The structural repair of St Michael Elementary is progressing with an estimated completion date of July 2015. Student are currently attending schooling at Sacre Couer School on Linden
Student should return to St Michael’s in September at which point decisions and attention to the Sacre Couer School will be put forward

4. City update:
Update from the Councillor’s office:
Presenter: David Simor
o 555 Sherbourne, a 43 storey tower and a new Freshco going in
o North St.Jamestown, @ OMB in mediation, a confidential report is being considered. Changes such as moving density for public space.
o Wellesley Community pool, design and geothermal testing being done, hope to be approved by end of 2015, with a start date in 2016
o Isabella traffic calming poll was unsuccessful, not enough ballots were returned, therefore it is not moving forward
o Bloor St East(Church to Parliament) is scheduled for water main work and road resurfacing in 2017, city plans to also include updated streetscaping at the same time

5. Concerns discussed from the attendees:
• Impact on traffic on Selby street from all this construction and later all the new buildings and residents
• Sherbourne subway station – its current state of disrepair and the future impact of all the new residents to the area
• Safety of pedestrian walks on Selby street, they are already too narrow for all the pedestrians, construction will make it much worse, need wider, better cleared sidewalks to accommodate wheelchairs and strollers and shopping carts.
• Abandoned bikes on Isabella and surrounding area
